🔥 Special Edition for Las Vegas Hackers Summer Camp 2025
In 2023, I stepped into the world of “hacker camp” in Las Vegas for the very first time—and let me tell you, it cracked my cybersecurity universe wide open. Up until then, I had only been on the academic side of things, teaching cybersecurity in classrooms. But suddenly, I was surrounded by thousands of brilliant minds, from ethical hackers to policy wonks, red teamers, blue teamers, newbies and legends alike. It was overwhelming, electrifying, and incredibly humbling. I was blown away by the diversity of skills, backgrounds, and passions in one place. I listened, I learned, I asked a ton of questions. I left that week on fire with ideas, connections, and a new sense of purpose. That trip gave me a shot of inspiration I didn’t even know I needed. So of course, I came back for more in 2024, this time with clearer eyes and bigger goals. That’s why I created a special edition newsletter: to highlight the best of what’s coming in 2025 at the Las Vegas hacker camp. Cybersecurity isn’t just a job—it’s a community. And Las Vegas in August is where that community truly comes alive. I hope to see you there. 💻💥🎲
